In compliance with the order dated 09.09.2013 passed by this Court, an additional affidavit has been filed by Additional Inspector General of Prisons, Haryana, with regard to completing the process of disposal of the parole/furlough cases in time.

It has been stated in the affidavit that the Government, vide letter dated 24.09.2013, has requested that all the Divisional CommissioneRs.District Magistrates, Commissioners of Police and Superintendent of Police/Deputy Commissioner of Police, be directed to take following steps to avoid delay in deciding the parole/furlough cases:- (i) That delay in parole/furlough cases may be kept an agenda point in next DC/SPs conferences.

(ii).video conference may be organized of all CommissioneRs.DMs.Commissioners of Police and Prasher Ajay 2013.10.08 18:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh Crl.
