**** SATISH KUMAR MITTAL, J.(Oral) This writ petition has been filed by the employer challenging the order dated 18.12.2008 (Annexure P-3).passed by the Authority under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, SiRs.Circle, Sirsa, whereby the petitioner has been ordered to pay an amount of Rs.49,000/- to respondents No.2 to 5.
In this case the respondents No.2 to 5 are the members of one family and their claim is that they were engaged as agriculture labourers by the petitioner who is an agriculturist.
On the last date, both the parties have agreed that in case the petitioner pay Rs.20,000/- to all the four respondents No.2 to 5 (Rs.5000/- each) then their claim will be deemed to be considered as full and final settlement between them.
In pursuance of the said Saini Reema 2013.10.07 12:25 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh C.W.P.No.13196 of 2010 -2- settlement, the petitioner has brought four drafts Rs.5000/- each, in the name of all four respondents No.2 to 5 and the photostat copies of the said drafts have been taken on record.
The original bank drafts have been handed over to counsel for respondents No.2 to 5.
In view of the aforesaid settlement and payment, the entire claim of respondents No.2 to 5 against the petitioner stands satisfied.
This petition is accordingly disposed of.
