(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C.is for issuance of a direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from respondents No.4 and 5.
The petitioners have got married against the wishes of their parents.
They are stated to be major.
In support of his proof of age petitioner No.1 has placed on record a copy of 5th Class Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) wherein his date of birth is mentioned as 23.11.1987 whereas petitioner No.2 has placed on record a copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-2) depicting her date of birth as 05.12.1991.
They have also moved a representation before the C.R.M-M No.9822 of 2013 (O&M) -2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala (Annexure P-5) for protection of their life and liberty.
Without adverting to the merits of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala to take appropriate action on the said representation (Annexure P-5).Since the main case has been decided, the pending Criminal Misc.
Application, if any, also stands disposed of.
A copy of this order be given dasti to learned counsel for the petitioners on payment of usual charges.
