(Oral) Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioners have approached this Court by way of instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus.
Petitioners claim the similar relief as allegedly granted to similar employee, namely, Jagtar Singh vide Annexure P-1 passed by respondent No.1.
However, petitioners have not placed on record any representation made to the competent authority or any legal notice, raising their demand before filing the present writ petition.
In view of the above and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach the competent authority by raising their grievance by way of an appropriate representation, at the fiRs.instance.
