C.W.P.No.105 of 2013 PetitioneRs.in response to Advertisement No.2/2009, applied for the posts of Lecturers in English and Political Science.

They stand selected but the appointment letters were not issued to the petitioners on the ground that the matter with regard to the degrees obtained by the petitioners through correspondence is pending consideration in CWP No.1640 of 2008 titled as Kartar Singh versus Union of India and otheRs.decided on 06.11.2012 (Annexure P-5).It is contended that the said judgment does not relate to the academic couRs.and the same deals with technical course, which degrees have been obtained through correspondence C.W.P.No.105 of 2013 (O&M) -2- and the same has been found to be not in consonance with the Statute.
