RITU BAHRI, J (ORAL) This petition has been entertained on a complaint/application written by Kamaljeet Singh, alleging therein that accused-Swaran Singh Khabbu has sold his wife and she is in illegal custody of the said accused since 01.07.2013.
On notice, reply on behalf of respondent-State in the shape of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division, Malout, District Sr.Muktsar Sahib, has been filed, stating therein that during enquiry, statement of Sunita @ Baljinder Kaur (wife of the petitioner) has been recorded, wherein she has stated that on 01.07.2013, she had gone to village Ratta Khera and after staying there for some days, she has returned back to her husband-Kamaljit at village Rauniwala.

2. her daughter, is residing with the petitioner at village Rauniwala.
Joint statement of Major Singh, Sarpanch, Balwinder Singh and ASI Jaswinder Singh has also been recorded, wherein they have stated that Sunita @ Baljinder Kaur, wife of Kamaljit Singh-petitioner, is living with her husband and children at Raniwala peacefuly and she was not detained by anyone.
In these circumstances, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition.
Disposed of accordingly.
