The petitioner contends that he has already effected payments in accordance with Ext.P6 judgment. The respondent bank on the other hand maintains that recovery proceedings are on the basis of Ext.P8 order passed by the Debts Recovery Tribunal.
2. The matter can be given a quietus by permitting the petitioner to approach the bank seeking the benefit of One Time Settlement Scheme, if any. The petitioner shall submit a representation along with a deposit of .1,50,000/- (Rupees one lakh fifty thousand only) to the respondent bank.
2. The representation, if filed, within two weeks from today shall be dealt with by the respondent bank within one month therefrom. The coercive proceedings initiated against the petitioner shall be put on hold if the petitioner makes the deposit and submits a representation as directed.
3. The recovery proceedings can continue dependant on the outcome of the representation. The bank is also free to W.P.(C) No.18857 o”
