2. It is upto the District Collector to pass appropriate orders in terms of the provisions of the Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act, 2001. The decision will be taken within a period of one month from the date of production of a certified copy of this Judgment along with a copy of the writ petition.
