18. 07.2013 PRESENT HON'BLE Mr. JUSTICE P.K. LOHRA Ms. Rekha Borana, amicus curiae, for the petitioner. Mr. I.S. Pareek, Addl. Govt. Counsel for the State. Ms. Rekha Borana, the learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the marriage which was solemnized between the petitioner and her husband, Likhma Ram, has already been annulled by the Family Court, Jodhpur and now she is pursuing her studies at Jaipur. Ms. Borana further submits that there is a reasonable apprehension in the mind of the petitioner and her family members that the caste panches of the community are likely to take any coercive action against the petitioner and her family members, and 2 therefore, appropriate directions are required to be issued to the State authorities to provide them adequate protection against the apprehended atrocious action of the panches.
