Preamble1 - Mayo Hospital Acquisition Act, 1982 Section1 - Short title and commencement Section2 - Definitions In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, Section3 - Hospital to vest in the State Government On and from the appointed day the Hospital shall, by virtue of this Act, be Section4 - General effect of vesting Section5 - Payment of compensation Section6 - Management of the Hospital The Hospital which has vested in the State Government under this Act shall be managed on Section6A - Power to transfer the Hospital on lease 33.Sec. 6A ins. by W. B. Act 17 of 1991 Section7 - Protection from acts done in good faith No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Section8 - Employment of certain employees to continue Section8A - Status of employees upon transfer of the Hospital on lease 44.Sec. 8A ins. by W.B. Act 17 of 1991. The services of Section9 - Act to override other laws The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary Section10 - Penalty Section11 - Delegation of powers The State Government may, by notification, direct that all or any of the powers exercisable by it Section12 - Power to make rules Section13 - Repeal and saving
