BENGAL MUNICIPAL ACT, 1932 BENGAL MUNICIPAL ACT, 1932 15 of 1932 1st December, 1932 An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to municipalities in Bengal WHEREAS it Is expedient to consolidate and amend the law relating to municipalities in Bengal: AND WHEREAS the previous sanction of the Governor General has been obtained under sub-section (3) of section 80A of the Government of .India Act to the passing of this Act; It is hereby enacted as follows CHAPTER 1 PRELIMINARY Section 1 Short title, extent and commencement (1)This Act may be called the Bengal Municipal Act, 1932.
