WHEREAS it is expedient to abolish the Calcutta and Suburban Police Superannuation Fund; It is hereby enacted as follows: Section 1 Short title This Act may be called the Calcutta and Suburban Police (Superannuation Fund) Act, 1905. Section 2 Repeal of enactments Rep. by Ben. Act 1 of 1939. Section 3 Transfer and application of Calcutta and Suburban Police Superannuation Fund All sums standing to the credit of the Calcutta and Suburban Police Superannuation Fund shall vest in [the State Government], to be applied, under rules made by the [State Government] in this behalf, towards the grant of pensions or gratuities to members of the Police force of the town or suburbs of Calcutta.
