BENGAL DISTRICTS ACT, 1864 BENGAL DISTRICTS ACT, 1864 4 of 1864 20th April, 1864 An Act to amend Act 21 of 1836. Preamble. Whereas it is expedient to amend Act 21 of 1836; It is enacted as follows Section 1 Lieutenant-Governor may alter limits of existing zilas It shall be lawful for the Lieutenant-Governor 11.
