Received the assent of the Governor on May 8, 2001, and published in the Uttaranchal Gazette, Extra., Part 1, Section (Ka), dated 8th May, 2001, p. 2 ----------------------------------- Section 1 - Short title and extent (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act (Dwitiya Uttaranchal Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2001. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttaranchal. (3) It shall come into force on June 11, 2001. Section 2 - Amendment of the second proviso of clause (c) of Section 10-AA of U.P. Act No. 2 of 1916 After clause (c) of Section 10-AA of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 the second proviso of the said section shall be substituted as under, namely:-- "Provided further that the Administrator appointed under this section shall have a term till March 31, 2002 or.....

In the Fifty-second year of Republic of India, Uttaranchal Vidhan Sabha hereby enacts as follows:-- __________________________ 1. Received the assent of the Governor on May 5, 2001, and published in the Uttaranchal Gazette, Extra., Part 1, Section (Ka), dated 5th May, 2001, p. 2 -------------------------------------- Section 1 - Short title and commencement The Act may be called the Uttaranchal Contingency Fund (Amendment) Act, 2001. Section 2 " In Section 4 of the Uttaranchal Contingency Fund Act, 2001 (Act No. 2 of 2001), word "thirty" is substituted for the word "fifteen".
