.....of the Opposition.- ( 1) The Leader of the Opposition in the Tripura Legislative Assembly shall, so long he continues as such Leader, be entitled to such salary, allowances and other amenities as may be admissible to a Minister (other than the Chief Minister, Minister of State and Deputy Minister). In addition, he will be entitled to stationery as admissible under section 8 F of the Salary, Allowances and pension of Members of the Legislative Assembly (Tripura) Act, 1972. (2) Any provision in any existing Act or rules which is contrary to or inconsistent with provision of this Act shall stand modified or repealed to the extent of such contradictions or inconsistencies without, however, affecting anything already done or any action taken under the relevant provision of the said Act or the rules.
