Whereas it is expedient to provide for the welfare of Agricultural workers in the State of Tripura and to regulate the conditions of their works ; Be it enacted in the Thirty Seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows : - CHAPTER I Preliminary 1. Short title, extent and commencement - (1) This Act may be called the Tripura Agricultural Workers Act, 1986. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Tripura.
