.....therewith or incidental thereto. WHEREAS, there had been rapid increase in the population owing to industrialization, migration and various other factors, putting pressure on land and infrastructure in the Chennai Metropolitan Planning Area leading to unauthorized developments which are not in conformity with the First Master Plan for Chennai Metropolitan Planning Area in force, the Development Control Rules contained therein and the building rules, regulations and bye-laws; AND WHEREAS, the Government have constituted a committee headed by a retired Supreme Court Judge to look into all aspects of development and to suggest necessary modifications to the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972); AND WHEREAS, it is expected that the recommendations of the Committee aforesaid may involves substantial amendments to the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and some with retrospective effect, and in particular to the provisions relating to construction and use of the premises, thereby changing the position as obtaining now under the said Act; AND WHEREAS, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority has.....

Tamil Nadu Appointment on Preferential Basis in the Services Under the State of Persons Studied in Tamil Medium Act, 2010 Complete Act

.....through Tamil Medium of instruction; e. "preferential vacancies " means such vacancies available for persons studied in Tamil medium under sub-section (1) of Section 3; f. .....Nadu Entertainments Tax (Amendment) Act, 2010. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 6th day of January 1993. 2. Amendment of Section 3. Repeal. " The Tamil Nadu Entertainments Tax (Second Amendment) Act, 1995 (Tamil Nadu Act 39 of 1995) and Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Entertainments Tax (Amendment) Act, 2004 (Tamil Nadu Act 38 of 2004) are hereby repealed. 4. .....This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax (Special Provision) Act, 2010. 2. Section 2 of Tamil Nadu Act 22 of 2010 deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of January 2007." Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax (Second Amendment) Act, 2010 (Tamil Nadu Act 22 of 2010)(hereinafter referred to as the 2010 Act) and in the Notification of the State Government in the Commercial Taxes and Registration Department No.II(2)/CTR/ 527(b)/2010, published at page I in Part II-Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 19th day of August 2010, Section 2 of the 2010 Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of January 2007. 3. Repeal and saving." (1) The Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax (Special Provision) Ordinance, 2010 (See 2010 (2)CTAR page 1.141) (Tamil Nadu Ordinance 7 of 2010) is hereby repealed.
