Ad Hoc Rules Relating to Temporary Post of Village Administrative Officer

Section1 - The General and Special rules Rule1 - The general and special rules applicable to the holders of the permanent posts in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service Rule2 - Constitution. " The post shall constitute a separate category in the said Service Rule3 - Appointment. " (1) Appointment to the post shall be made by direct recruitment Rule4 - Qualification " Rule5 - Appointing Authority. " The appointing authority for the post shall be the Revenue Divisional Officer having Rule6 - Reservation of appointment. " General rule 22 relating to the reservation of appointment shall be applicable for Rule7 - Security. " Every person appointed to the post shall furnish a case security of a sum of Rs. 2,000 (Rupees two thousand Rule8 - Probation. " Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he joins duty, be on probation for a total Rule9 - Training and test. " every person appointed to the post shall within a period of one year from the date on which he Rule10 - Transfer - Every person appointed to the post shall be liable to be transferred, Rule11 - Tenure of Office. " Every person appointed to the post shall retire on attaining the age of 58 years and shall not be Rule12 - Resignation. " Section13 - Fundamental rules, Tamil Nadu Leave Rules, Government Servants Conduct Rules and Pension Rules to apply Rule13 - Fundamental Rules, Tamil Nadu Leave Rules, Government Servants' Conduct Rules and Pension Rules to apply. Section1 - Short title, commencement extend and application. " (1) These rules may be called the Tamil Nadu Village Servants Section2 - Definitions. " (Substituted by G.O. Ms. 1495 Rev., 1.9.1984. " (1) Any Person aggrieved by an order of an appointing shall be entitles to Section10 - Revision.- (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in rule 9, the Collector may, of his own motion or on the applicant Section11 - Probation.- There shall be no probation for persons appointed to the post of a Village Servant Section12 - Transfer.- (1) Village Servant may be transferred either on administrative grounds or on request amounting to mutual Section13 - Tenure of Office.- (1) Village Servant on attaining the age of sixty years, shall retire and shall not be retained in Section14 - Amount to be paid on retirement Section16 - Fundamentals rules and the Tamil Nadu Leave-Rules 1933, etc. not to apply Section17 - Residence.- The Village Servant shall reside in the Village under his charge Section18 - Rules not to apply to certain persons referred to in sub-rule (1) of rule 5
