Preamble1 - The Sikkim State Commission for Women Act, 2001 Chapter1 - This Act may be called the Sikkim State Commission for Women Act, 2001 Chapter2 - In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires Chapter3 - The State Government shall constitute a body to be known as the State Commission for Women to exercise the powers Chapter4 - The Quorum for a meeting of the Commission shall be four Chapter6 - The salaries and allowances payable to the Chairperson and Members and the administrative expenses, including salaries, Chapter7 - No act of proceeding of the Commission shall be questioned or shall be invalid on the ground merely of the existence of Chapter9 - The Commission or a Committee thereof shall meet as and when necessary and meet at such time and place as the Chapter10 - The Commission shall perform all or any of the functions, namely Chapter11 - The State Government shall, after due appropriation made by the Legislature of Sikkim in this behalf pay to the Chapter12 - The Commission shall maintain proper account and other relevant records and prepare an annual statement of accounts in Chapter13 - The Commission shall prepare, in such form and at such time, for each financial year as may be prescribed its annual Chapter14 - The State Government shall cause the annual report together with a memo- random of action taken on the recommendation Chapter15 - The Chairperson, the member, officers and other employees shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of Chapter16 - The State Government shall consult the Commission on all major policy matters affecting women
