Family Courts Act 1984 Chapter VI

.....therewith contained in any other law for the time being in force or in any instrument having effect by virtue of any law other than this Act. Section 21 - Power of High Court to make rules (1) The High Court may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make such rules as it may deem necessary for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:-- (a) normal working hours of Family Courts and holding of sittings of Family Courts on holidays and outside normal working hours; (b) holding of sittings of Family Courts at places other than their ordinary places of sitting; (c) efforts which may be made by, and the procedure which may be followed by, a Family Court for assisting and persuading parties to arrive at a settlement. Section 22 - Power of the Central Government to make rules (1) The Central Government may, with the concurrence of the Chief Justice of India, by notification, make rules prescribing the other qualifications for appointment of Judge referred to in clause (c) of sub-section (3) of section 4. .....

.....within the meaning of sections 193 and 228 of the Indian Penal Code and the Commissioner shall be deemed to be a civil court for the purposes of Section 195 and Chapter XXVI of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. Industrial Reconstruction Bank of India Act, 1984 Chapter VI

Title: Reconstruction Assistance Fund

.....Assistance Fund shall be credited -- (a) all amounts received for the purposes of that Fund by way of loans, gifts, grants, donations or benefactions from Government or any other source; (b) repayments or recoveries in respect of loans, advances or other facilities granted from the Fund; (c) income or profits from investments made from the Fund; and (d) income accruing or arising to the Fund by way of interest or otherwise, on account of the application of the Fund in accordance with the provisions of section 27. Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 Chapter VI

.....has been duly elected or nominated, whatever is longer ; Provided that a member of the State Veterinary Council nominated under clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 32 or clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 34, shall hold office during the pleasure of the authority nominating him. Title: Removal and Suspension of Chairman or the Members from Office in Certain Circumstances

Agricultural Credit Pass Book Act, 1984 Section 6

Title: Transfer Not to Be Registered Except on Production of Pass Book

(1) No transfer made by the holder of a pass book in respect of any land specified in such pass book or any interest in such land or any crops standing thereon shall be registered by the Sub Registrar, unless the pass book is produced before him ; and on the production of the pass book, he shall make an endorsement thereon indicating the particulars of the transfer registered by him. (2) Any transfer made by the holder of a pass book without complying with the provisions of sub-section (1) shall be void and shall not convey any title.
