.....or industrial undertaking located outside the territories of the existing State of Assam. (2) Where any body corporate constituted under a Central Act, State Act or Provincial Act for the existing State of Assam or any part thereof has, by virtue of the provisions of Part II, become an inter-State body corporate, the investments in, or loans or advances to any such body corporate by the existing State of Assam made before the appointed day shall save as otherwise expressly provided by or under this Act, be divided between the State of Assam and Meghalaya in the same proportion in which the assets of the body corporate are divided under the provisions of Part VII. 7. Assets and liabilities of State undertakings.-- (1) The assets and liabilities relating to any commercial or industrial undertaking of the existing State of Assam shall pass to the State of Meghalaya if the undertaking is located in the transferred territories. (2) Where a depreciation reserve fund is maintained by the existing State of Assam for any commercial or industrial undertaking, the securities held in respect of investments made from that fund shall pass to the State of Meghalaya if the undertaking is.....

Title: Assets and Liabilities

.....Act, 1969, shall, oh and from that day, pass to the State of Meghalaya. (3) Subject to the provisions of sub-sections (1) and (2) of this section and section 52, all rights, liabilities and obligations whether arising out of any contract or otherwise, which are, immediately before the appointed day, the rights, liabilities and obligations of the existing State of Assam and all property and assets held by the existing State of Assam immediately before the appointed day shall be apportioned between the State of Assam and the State of Meghalaya in accordance with the provisions contained in the Sixth Schedule. Section 52 - Assets and liabilities (including public debt) relating to the Mizo District (1) All property and assets within the Mizo District which are, immediately before the appointed day, vested in the existing State of Assam shall, as from that day, vest in the Union. (2) Unless the Central Government otherwise directs, any stores, articles and other goods belonging to the existing State of Assam and situated outside the Mizo District immediately before the appointed day shall, as from that day, pass to the Union if such stores, articles or other goods.....

Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971 Section 6

Title: Power to Make Rules

.....for all or any of the following matters namely-- (a) the experience or training, or both, which a registered medical practitioner shall have if he intends to terminate any pregnancy under this Act; and (b) such other matters as are required to be or may be, provided by rules made under this Act. (3) Every rule made by the Central Government under this Act shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before each House of Parliament while it is in session for a total period of thirty days which may be comprised in one session or in two successive sessions, and if, before the expiry of the session in which it is so laid or the session immediately following, both Houses agree in making any modification in the rule or both Houses agree that the rule should not be made, the rule shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no effect, as the case may be; so, however, that any such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under that rule.
