.....Act of Parliament passed after the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty and extending to British India (including the Army Act,2[he Air Force Act] and any Act amending the same; or (ii) any Act of Parliament enabling the Secretary of State in Council to raise money in the United Kingdom for the government of India; and has not power to make any law affecting the authority of Parliament, or any part of the unwritten laws or constitution of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland whereonmay depend in any degree the allegiance of any prson to the Crown of the United Kingdom, or affecting the sovereignty or dominition of the Crown over any part of British India. Officers of the University.- The following shall be the officers of the University, namely:- (a) the Chancellor, (b) the Vice-Chancellor, (c) the Rector, (d) the Registrar, (e) the Finance Officer, (f) the Deans of Faculties, (g) the Dean of Students, (h) the Librarian, (i) the Chief Proctor, (j) such other persons in the service of the University as may be declared by the Statutes to be the officers of the University.] ________________________ 1. Nothing in this Act shall affect any proceeding which at the commencement thereof is pending in respect of any of the territory mentioned in Schedule I or of anything arising in such territory and every such proceeding shall be continued as if this Act had not been passed : Provided that the1[State Government] may, by notification in the2[Official Gazette,] direct that any proceeding, criminal, civil or revenue, other than a proceeding pending before the High Court of Judicature for thee North Western Provinces, shall be transferred to and disposed of by, the corresponding authority of the Delhi1[State]. ________________________ 1.
