Title: Purchase of Undertakings

.....purchasethe undertaking. (6) Where a notice exercisingthe option of purchasing the undertaking has been served upon the licenseeunder this section, the licensee shall deliver the undertaking to the StateElectricity Board, the State Governmentor the local authority, as the case may be, on the expiration of the relevantperiod referred to in sub-section (1) pending the determination and payment of the purchase price. (7) Where an undertaking ispurchased under this section, the purchaser shall pay to the licensee thepurchase price determined in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (4) of section 7A. ____________________________ 1. Indian Museum Act, 1910 Section 6

Title: Property Vested in or Placed Under the Control of the Trustees

(1) All the property, whether movable or immovable, which at the commencement of this Act is held by the Trustees of the Indian Museum constituted by the {Rep.by this Act,section17.} [Indian Museum Act, 1876 (22 of 1876), on trust for the purposes of the said Museum shall, together with any such property which may hereinafter be given bequeathed, transferred or acquired for the said purposes, in the Trustees of the Indian Museum constituted by this Act on trust for the purposes of the said Museum: Provided that the Trustees may expend the capital of any portion of such property which may consist of money on the maintenance; improvement and enlargement of the collections deposited in, presented to or purchased for, the said Museum or otherwise for the purposes of the same as they may think fit (2) The Trustees shall have the exclusive possession, occupation and control, for the purposes of such trust, of the land specified in the schedule including any buildings which may have been, or may hereafter be, erected thereon, other than those portions thereof which have been set apart by the Trustees for the records and offices of the Geological Survey of India.

.....shall be deemed to be the time of purchase:" [Bihar Act 29 of 1950, Sec. 3 ]. For sub-sections (2) and (3) of Sec. 5 of the Indian Electricity Act, 1910 (Act IX of 1910) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act, the following subsections shall be substituted, namely : "(2) Where an undertaking is sold under sub-section (1), the purchaser shall pay to the licensee the amount payable for the undertaking determined in accordance with the provision of sub-sections (1) and (2) of Sec. 7-A. (3) Where the State Government issues any notice under sub- section ( 1 ) requiring the licensee to deliver on a date specified in the notice the undertaking to the designated purchaser pending the determination and payment of the amount payable for the undertaking: Provided that in any such case the purchaser shall pay to the licensee, interest at the Reserve Bank rate ruling at the time of delivery of the undertaking plus one per cent on the amount payable for the undertaking for the period from the date of delivery of the undertaking to the date of payment of the amount payable." .....to time, with the previous sanction of the9[Central Government],13[make, by notification in the Official gazette, bye-laws] consistent with this Act10[and the rules made thereunder] for any purpose necessary for the execution of their trust.
