..... (4) The Chancellor shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be conferred or imposed on him by or under this Act. Section 12 - The Pro-Chancellor (1) The Minister in charge of Animal Husbandry in Karnataka shall, by virtue of his office be the Pro-Chancellor of the University. (2) He shall exercise such powers and perform such duties of the Chancellor as may be conferred on him by or under this Act. He shall also exercise such other powers and perform such other duties of the Chancellor as the Chancellor may by order in writing delegate to the Pro--Chancellor and such delegation may be subject to such restrictions and conditions as may be specified in such order. (3) He shall in the absence of the Chancellor preside at any convocation of the University. Section 13 - The Vice-Chancellor (1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be a whole time officer of the University.
