.....AND REGULATION) AMENDMENT ACT, 2015 NO. 10 OF 2015 [26th March, 2015.] An Act further to amend the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows: Short title and commencement 1. (1) This Act may be called the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Act, 2015. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 12th day of January, 2015. Amendment of section 3. 2. In the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in section 3, (i) after clause (e), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: (ea) notified minerals means any mineral specified in the Fourth Schedule; ; (ii) after clause (g), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: (ga) prospecting licence-cum-mining lease means a two stage concession granted for the purpose of undertaking prospecting operations followed by mining operations; ; (iii) in clause (hb), the word and , occurring at the end, shall be omitted; (iv) after clause (hb), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: (hc) Special Court means a Court.....

Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows: CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY Short title, extent and commencement. 1. (1) This Act may be called the Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts Act, 2015. (2) It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 23rd day of October, 2015. Definitions. 2. (1) In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, (a) Commercial Appellate Division means the Commercial Appellate Division in a High Court constituted under sub-section (1) of section 5; (b) Commercial Court means the Commercial Court constituted under sub-section (1) of section 3; (c) commercial dispute .....

The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 Complete Act

.....exist, in such manner as may be prescribed: Provided that a mere inability to substantiate a complaint or provide adequate proof need not attract action against the complainant under this section: Provided further that the malicious intent on part of the complainant shall be established after an inquiry in accordance with the procedure prescribed, before any action is recommended. (2) Where the Internal Committee or the Local Committee, as the case may be, arrives at a conclusion that during the inquiry any witness has given false evidence or produced any forged or misleading document, it may recommend to the employer of the witness or the District Officer, as the case may be, to take action in accordance with the provisions of the service rules applicable to the said witness or where no such service rules exist, in such manner as may be prescribed. 15. After section 12A of the principal Act, the following section shall be inserted, namely:-- 12B. Regulation of acquisition of shares or voting rights.-- (1) No person (hereinafter referred to as "the applicant") shall, except with the previous approval of the Reserve Bank, on an application being made, acquire or agree to acquire, directly or indirectly, by himself or acting in concert with any other person, shares of a banking company or voting rights therein, which acquisition taken together with shares and voting rights, if any, held by him or his relative or associate enterprise or person acting in concert with him, makes the applicant to hold five per cent. or more of the paid-up share capital of such banking company or entitles him to exercise five per cent. or more of the voting rights in such banking company. Explanation 1.--For the purposes of this sub-section,-- (a) "associate enterprise" means a company, whether incorporated or not, which,-- (i) is a holding company or a subsidiary company of the applicant; or (ii) is a joint venture of the applicant; or (iii) controls the composition of the Board of Directors or other body governing the applicant; or .....
