Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:-- Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Jharkhand Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Act, 2010. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Jharkhand. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 15th day of April, 2010.
