Title: Provisions as to Bail and Bonds

Title: In What Cases Bail to Be Taken

Title: Bail to Require Accused to Appear Before Next Appellate Court

1[(1) Before conclusion of the trial and before disposal of the appeal, the Court trying the offence or the Appellate Court, as the case may be, shall require the accused to execute bail bonds with sureties, to appear before the higher Court as and when such Court issues notice in respect of any appeal or petition filed against the judgment of the respective Court and such bail bonds shall be in force for six months. (2) If such accused fails to appear, the bond stand forfeited and the procedure under section 446 shall apply.] _______________________________________________ 1. Bonded Labour System Abolition Act, 1976 Chapter III

Title: Extinguishment of Liability to Repay Bonded Debt

.....of being heard, direct the creditor to restore to the applicant the possession of the concerned property within such time as may be specified in the order. THE SPECIAL BEARER BONDS (IMMUNITIES AND EXEMPTIONS) ACT, 1981 [Act, No. 7 of 1981] PREAMBLE An Act to provide for certain immunities to holders of Special Bearer Bonds, 1991 and for certain exemptions from direct taxes in relation to such bonds and for matters connected therewith WHEREAS for effective economic and social planning it is necessary to canalize for productive purposes black money which has become a serious threat to the national economy; AND WHEREAS with a view to such canalisation the Central Government has decided to issue at par certain bearer bonds to be known as the Special Bearer Bonds, 1991, of the face value of ten thousand rupees and redemption value, after ten years, of twelve thousand rupees; AND WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for certain immunities and exemptions to render it possible for persons in possession of black money to invest thesame in the said Bonds; BE it enacted by Parliament in the Thirty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:

Bonded Labour System Abolition Act, 1976 Chapter II

Title: Abolition of Bonded Labour System

(1) On the commencement of this Act, the bonded labour system shall stand abolished any every bonded labourer shall, on such commencement, stand freed and discharged from any obligation to render any bonded labour. (2) After the commencement of this Act, no person shall (a) make any advance under, or in pursuance of, the bonded labour system, or (b) compel any person to render any bonded labour or other form of forced labour. Section 5 - Agreement, custom, etc., to be void On the commencement of this Act, any custom or tradition or any contract, agreement or other instrument (whether entered into or executed before or after the commencement of this Act) by virtue of which any person, or any member of the family or dependent of such person, is required to do any work or render any service as a bonded labourer, shall be void and inoperative.
