.....function or duty under this Act, the District Magistrate shall not exercise the same power or perform the same function or duty notwithstanding the fact that such area forms part of a District within the territorial jurisdiction of the District Magistrate: Provided further that the area for which a Commissioner has been appointed, under this section shall not, unless otherwise provided by or under this Act, be under the charge of a Superintendent for any of the purposes of this Act, notwithstanding the fact that such, area forms part of a district within the territorial jurisdiction for which a Superintendent may have been appointed.
