.....person authorised by him in this behalf shall receive or be entitled to receive nazars or offerings on behalf of the Durgah. 2[(2) Whoever solicits or receives any nazars or offerings in contravention of the provisions of sub-section (1), shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees. (3) The Nazim, the Sajjadanashin, the employees and servants of the Durgah Endowment and all other persons authorised to do any act under this Act shall, while acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions made by or under this Act, be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860).] ________________________ 1.
