Delhi Police Act, 1978 Complete Act

.....for further service in the police, the appointing authority shall forthwith permit him to withdraw from duty on his discharging, or giving a satisfactory security for the payment of any debt due from him as such police officer to Government or to any police fund : Provided that he shall forthwith return the certificate of appointment, arms, accoutrements, uniform and all other Government property in his possession before he is permitted to withdraw from duty. Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954 Complete Act

.....Government in this behalf may, if satisfied that an advertisement relating to a drug contravenes the provisions of Sec.4] by order, require the manufacturer, packer, distributor or seller of the drug to furnish, within such time as may be specified in the order of such further regarding the composition of the drug or the ingredients thereof or any other information in regard to that drug as he deems necessary for holding the scrutiny of the advertisement and where any such order is made, it shall be the duty of the manufacturer, packer, distributor or seller of the drug to which the advertisement relates to comply with the order. Any failure to comply with such order shall, for the purposes of Sec.7, be deemed to be a contravention of the provisions of Sec.4: Provided that no publisher or advertising agency of any medium for the dissemination of any advertisement relating to a drug shall be deemed to have made any contravention merely by reason of the dissemination by him or if any such advertisement, unless such publisher or advertising agency has failed to comply with any discretion made by the authorised person in this behalf calling upon him or it to furnish the name and.....

The Himachal Pradesh Judicial Officers (Pay, Allowances & Conditions of Service) Act, 2003 Complete Act

.....of the revised pay scale and the difference, if any, be treated as personal pay. (2) While fixing the pay in the revised pay scales, the following factors shall also be taken in to account, namely:- (a) in case, a Judicial Officer drawing pay in the existing pay scale, equal to or less than that of his senior in the same cadre and similarly appointed, draws his next increment in the revised pay scale on the date earlier than such senior whereby his pay is raised to a stage higher than that of such senior, the next increment of the senior shall be granted on the same date on which the junior officer draws his next increment in the revised pay scale; (b) in case, a Judicial Officer promoted to a higher post before 1-1-1996 draws less pay in the revised pay scale than his junior, his pay shall be stepped up equal to the pay of his junior in the higher post from the date of promotion of the junior; and (c) the benefits under clauses (a) and (b) shall be admissible only in case the anomaly has arisen due to the consequence of the application of the fixation of pay in the revised pay scales. 6. Coroners Act, 1871 Complete Act

.....act (the last mentioned offence is about to be added to the Penal Code) the Coroner will bind by recognizance any person acquainted with the facts to appear at the next sessions, and prosecute or give evidence. The Coroner will also certify the recognizances and deliver them with the inquisition and evidence to the Court in which the trial is to be. He may also issue his warrant for the apprehension of the accused. The amended Bill expressly abolishes the Coroner's jurisdiction as to treasure-trove and wreacks, and declares that he shall not be liable to execute process. The Coroner of Calcutta will, under the amended Bill, be appointed by the Lieutenant Governor of Bengal and not by the Governor-General in Council. As to Coroner's juries, we have provided (S. 31) that when an inquest is held on the body of a prisoner, no officer of the prison and no prisoner confined therein shall be ajuror. There is a similar provision in the Schedule to theEnglish Prisons Act (28 and 29 Vic., c. 126) , clause 48. As to a Coroner's rights, we have added three clauses, one providing for repaying his disbursements for fees to medical witnesses, hire of rooms for the jury, and the like;.....

Karnataka Sales Tax Act, 1957 Schedule II
