Title: Provision for Dependants of Prisoner of War from His Remitted Deductionsand Pay and Allowances

(1) In the case of all persons subject to this Act, being prisoners of war, whose pay and allowances have been forfeited under clause (h) of sub-section (1) or clause (a) of subsection (2) of section 61 but in respect of whom a remission has been made under section 66, it shall be lawful for the Central Government or the Director-General, when so authorised by the Central Government, to make provisions in respect of pay and allowances for any dependants of such persons and any such remission shall in that case be deemed to apply only to the balance thereafter remaining of such pay and allowances. (2) It shall be lawful for the Central Government or the Director-General, when so authorised by the Central Government, to make provisions for any dependants of any person subject to this Act who is a prisoner of war, or is missing, in respect of his pay and allowances.

THE SIKKIM MUNICIPALITIES ACT, 2007 THE SIKKIM MUNICIPALITIES ACT, 2007 (Act No. 5 of 2007) AN ACT To provide for the municipal governance in the State of Sikkim in conformity with the provisions of the Constitution of India as amended by the Constitution (Seventy-fourth Amendment) Act, 1992, based on the principles of participation in, and decentralization, autonomy, and accountability of, urban self-government at various levels, to improve the quality of life of the urban dwellers of Sikkim, to introduce reforms in financial management and accounting systems, to enhance internal resource generation capacity, to improve the organizational design of Municipalities, to ensure professionalization of the municipal personnel, and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by the Legislature of Sikkim in the Fifty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- PART I PRELIMINARY Chapter I Short title, extend and commencement. 1 (1) This Act may be called the Sikkim Municipalities Act, 2007. Be it enacted by the Legislature of Sikkim in the Fifty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows: - CHAPTER I Short title, extent and commencement. 1. (2) In the case of an Ayurveda Health Centre functioning, within the jurisdiction of any Local Self Government Institution, at the time of commencement of this Act, shall obtain licence under this Act within six months from the date of commencement of this Act and if fails to obtain such licence or to apply for such licence, such Centre shall not continue.....
