Title: Power of Central Government to Order Allocation or Adjustment in Certain Cases

Where, by virtue of any of the provisions of this Part, any of the successor States becomes entitled to any property or obtains any benefits or becomes subject to any liability, and the Central Government is of opinion, on a reference made within a period of three years from the appointed day by any State that it is just and equitable that that property or those benefits should be transferred to, or shared with, one or more of the other successor States, or that a contribution towards that liability should be made by one of more of the other successor States, the said property or benefits shall be allocated in such manner, or the other successor State or States shall make to the State primarily subject to the liability such contribution in respect thereof, as the Central Government may, after consultation with State Governments concerned by order determine.

.....due from him under section 65, or that any person has purchased any notified agricultural produce in contravention of any of the provisions of this Act or the rules, or the bye-laws in force in the market area, he may for reasons to be recorded in writing, seize such accounts, registers or documents of such person as may be necessary, and shall grant a receipt for the same and shall retain the same only so long as may be necessary for examination thereof or for a prosecution. (4) For purposes of sub-section (2) or sub-section (3), such officer or servant may enter or search any place of business, warehouse, office, establishment, godown, vessel or vehicle where such officer or servant has reason to believe that such person keeps or for the time being keeps any accounts, registers or documents of his business, or stocks of notified agricultural produce relating to his business. (5) The provisions of3[section 100 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974)] shall, so far as may be, apply to a search under sub-section (4). Title: Conferment of Status and Certain Immunities, Exemptions and Privileges on Bank and Conferment of Certain Immunities, Exemptions and Privileges on Its Officers and Employees

(1) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other law, the provisions of the Agreement set out in the Schedule shall have the force of law in India: Provided that nothing in Article 56 of the Agreement shall be construed as-- (a) entitling the Bank to import into India goods free of any duty of customs without any restriction on their subsequent sale therein; or (b) conferring on the Bank any exemption from duties or taxes which from part of the price of goods sold; or (c) conferring on the Bank any exemption from duties or taxes which are in fact no more than charges for services rendered. (2) The Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, amend the Schedule in conformity with any amendments, duly made and adopted, of the provisions of the Agreement set out therein.

Title: Payments to Bank

(1) There shall be paid out of the Consolidated Fund of India, after due appropriation made by Parliament by law in this behalf, all such sums as may, from time to time, be required for the purpose of paying,-- (a) the subscriptions payable by the Central Government to the Bank under paragraphs 1, 2, and 3 of Article 5 of the Agreement; (b) any commission, fees or other charges payable by the Central Government to the Bank under Article 16 of the Agreement; (c) any sums payable by the Central Government to the Bank under paragraph 1 of Article 25 of the Agreement. (2) The Central Government may, if it thinks fit so to do, create and issue to the Bank, in such form as it thinks fit, any such non-interest bearing and non-negotiable notes or other obligations as are provided for by paragraph 3 of Article 6 of the Agreement.
