1 65.Power to remove difficulties.- (1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to theprovisions of this Act, the Central Government may, by order, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, removethe difficulty: Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of a period of two years from thecommencement of this Act. Title: Possession of Plates for Purpose of Making Infringing Copies

Manipur Municipalities Act, 1994 Section 65

Title: Transfer of Private Roads, Etc., to Nagar Panchayat or Council

(1) The Nagar Panchayat or the Council at a meeting may agree with the person in whom the property in any road, bridge, tank, ghat, well, channel, or drain, vests to take over the property therein or the control thereof, and after such agreement may declare by notice in writing put up thereon or near thereto that such roads, bridge, tank, ghat, well, channel or drain has been transferred to the Nagar Panchayat or the Council, as the case may be. (2) On completion of the transfer, the property shall vest in the Nagar Panchayat or the Council, as the case may be, and shall thenceforth be repaired and maintained out of the municipal fund.

Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860) Section 65

Title: Limit to Imprisonment for Non-payment of Fine, when Imprisonment and Fine Awardable

The term for which the court directs the offender to be imprisoned in default of payment of a fine shall not exceed one-fourth of the term of imprisonment which is the maximum fixed for the offence, if the offence be punishable with imprisonment as well as fine.

Geographical Indications of Goods (Registration and Protection) Act, 1999 Section 65

Where, in the opinion of the Registrar, an applicant is in default in the prosecution of an application filed under this Act, the Registrar may, by notice require the applicant to remedy the default within a time specified and after giving him, if so, desired, an opportunity of being heard, treat the application as abandoned, unless the default is remedied within the time specified in the notice.

Madhya Pradesh Reorganisation Act,2000 Section 65

Where the assets, rights and liabilities of any body corporate carrying on any business are, under the provisions of this Part, transferred to any other bodies corporate which after the transfer carry on the same business, the losses or profits or gains sustained by the body corporate first mentioned which, but for such transfer, would have been allowed to be carried forward and set off in accordance with the provisions of Chapter VI of the Income-tax Act, 1961, shall be apportioned amongst the transferee bodies corporate in accordance with the rules to be made by the Central Government in this behalf and, upon such apportionment, the share of loss allotted to each transferee body corporate shall be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of ChapterVI of the said Act, as if the transferee body corporate had itself sustained such loss in a business carried on by it in the years in which these losses were sustained.
