Prior to substitution it read asunder: "34.Power to call for repayment before agreed period. -- Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any agreement the NationalBank may, by notice in writing require any borrowing institution to which it hasgranted any loan or advance to discharge forthwith in full its liabilities tothe National Bank- (a) if it appears to the Board that false or misleading information inany material particular was given in the application for the loan or advance or (b) if the borrowing institution has failed to comply with any of theterms of its contract with the National Bank in the matter of the loan oradvance, or (c) if there is a reasonable apprehension that the borrowing institutionis unable to pay its debts or that proceedings for liquidation may be commencedin respect thereof or (d) if for any reason it is necessary so to do to protect the interestsof the National Bank"

Title: Liability as Guarantor at Co-operative Societies

Where, immediately before the appointed day, the State of Andhra Pradesh or Madras is liable as guarantor in respect of any liability of a registered co-operative society, that liability shall,-- (a) if the area of the society's operations is limited to the transferred territories, be a liability of the State to which the territories are transferred; and (b) in any other case, continue to be a liability of the State which, immediately before that day, was subject to such liability.
