Title: Arrest of Person Trying to Leave India or Abscond

At any time either before or after passing a winding up order, if the Tribunal is satisfied that a contributory or a person having property, accounts or papers of the company in his possession is about to leave India or otherwise to abscond, or is about to remove or conceal any of his property, for the purpose of evading payment of calls or of avoiding examination respecting the affairs of the company, the Tribunal may cause-- (a) the contributory to be detained until such time as the Tribunal may order; and (b) his books and papers and movable property to be seized and safely kept until such time as the Tribunal may order.

Cantonments Act, 2006 Section 301

Title: Removal of Persons from Cantonment

If the Officer Commanding the Station or the Board is, after such inquiry as he or it thinks necessary, satisfied that any person residing in or frequenting the cantonment is a prostitute or has been convicted of an offence, under section 300, or of the abetment of such an offence he or, as the case may be, the Board may cause to be served on such person an order in writing requiring such person to remove from the cantonment within such time as may be specified in the order, and prohibiting such person from re-entering it without the permission in writing of the Officer Commanding the Station or the Board.

New Delhi Municipal Council Act 1994 Section 301

Title: Permission for Use of New Burning or Burial Ground

State: Central

Year: 1994

(1) No place which has not been used as a burning or burial ground before the commencement of this Act shall be so used without the permission in writing of the Chairperson. (2) Such permission may be granted subject to any conditions which the Chairperson may think fit to impose for the purpose of preventing any annoyance to, or danger to the health of, any person residing in the neighbourhood.

Karnataka Panchayat Raj Act, 1993 Section 301

Title: Adjustment of Government Dues Etc.

If a Grama Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat or Zilla Panchayat makes default in the payments of any amount, loan installments or interest due to the Government, the Karnataka State Electricity Board or the salaries, allowances or leave and pensionary contributions of Government servant deputed for service under such Panchayats, the Government may make an order directing the person having the custody of the Fund of the Panchayats concerned to pay the amount due in priority to any other charge against such fund and such person shall so far as the amounts to the credit of such Fund admit be bound to comply with the order.

Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976 Section 301

Title: Period Within Which Commissioner is to Grant or Refuse to Grant Permission to Execute Work

1 [(1)] Within thirty days after the receipt of any application made under section 299 for permission to execute any work or of any information or of documents or further information or documents required under rules or bye-laws the Commissioner shall, by written order, either grant such permission or refuse on one or more of the grounds mentioned in section 303 or section 304 to grant it. 2 [(2) If the Commissioner has not within the said period of thirty days passed any order, the applicant may address a letter to the Commissioner by name, requesting him to pass necessary orders on his application, and the Commissioner shall, within a further period of 30 days from the date of receipt of such letter, by written order, either grant such permission or refuse, on one or more of the grounds mentioned in section 303 or section 304, to grant it.] _______________ 1. .....Public Prosecutor, and may, with the permission of the Court, submit written arguments after the evidence is closed in the case. STATE AMENDMENT 1West Bengal: In section 301, for sub-section (1), the following shall be substituted:- "(1) (a) The Public Prosecutor in charge of a case may appear and plead without any written authority before any Court in which that case is under inquiry, trial or appeal. Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 Section 301

Title: Cargo Ship Safety Radio Certificate and Qualified Cargo Ship Safety Radio Certificate Etc

.....shall, if the Central Government or any person authorised by it in this behalf is satisfied that the ship complies with all the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder relating to radio installation applicable to such ship, receive- (a) in the case of a ship of three hundred tons gross or more, a certificate in the prescribed form to be called a cargo ship safety radio certificate; (b) in the case of a ship of three hundred tons gross or more but less than three thousand tons gross performing voyages only between ports or places in India, a certificate in the prescribed form to be called a qualified cargo ship safety radio certificate; and (c) in other cases, a certificate in the prescribed form to be called a cargo ship radio certificate.] ________________________ 1. Title: Register of Contracts, Companies and Firms in Which Directors Are Interested

.....the contract or arrangement; (b) the names of the parties thereto; (c) the principal terms and conditions thereof; (d) in the case of a contract to which section 297 applies or in the case of a contract or arrangement to which sub-section (2) of section 299 applies, the date on which it was placed before the Board; (e) the names of the directors voting for and against the contract or arrangement and the names of those remaining neutral.
