.....or any part of a vehicle in any street (unless when in the case of an accident repairing on the spot is necessary) or carries on therein any manufacture or operation so as to be a serious impediment to traffic or a serious annoyance to residents or to the public; (f) (i) causes obstruction in any street by allowing any animal or vehicle which has to be loaded or unloaded or has to take up or set down passengers, to remain or stand therein longer than may be necessary for such purpose; or by leaving any vehicle standing or by fastening any cattle therein, or using any part of a street as a halting place for vehicles or cattle, or by leaving any box, bale, package or other thing whatsoever in or upon a street for an unreasonable length of time; (ii) or causes obstruction by exposing anything for sale or setting out anything for sale or upon any stall, booth, board, cask, basket or in any other way whatsoever contrary to any regulation made and published by the Commissioner, or a District Magistrate; (g) causes obstruction on any foot-way, or drives, rides or leaves any animal or drives, drags or pushes any vehicle thereupon; (h) exhibits, contrary to any regulation made.....

New Delhi Municipal Council Act 1994 Chapter XVII

.....has been bitten by an animal suffering or reasonably suspected to be suffering from rabies, fail or neglect to give immediate information of the fact to the Chairperson or give information which is false. Section 311 - Stacking or collecting inflammable materials The Chairperson may, by public notice, prohibit in any case where such prohibition appears to him to be necessary for the prevention of danger to life or property, the stacking or collecting of wood, dry grass, straw or other inflammable materials, or the placing of mats or thatched huts or the lighting of fires in any place which may be specified in the notice. Section 312 - Care of naked lights No person shall set a naked light on or near any building in any public street or other public place in such manner as to cause danger of fire. Provided that nothing in this section shall be deemed to prohibit the use of lights for the purposes of illumination on the occasion of a festival or public or private entertainment. Section 313 - Discharging fireworks, fire-arms, etc. No one shall discharge any fire-arm or let off fire-works or fire-balloons, or engage in any game in such manner as to cause or to be.....

Cantonments Act, 2006 Chapter XIII

Title: Public Safety and Suppression of Nuisances

.....animal found picketed or straying as aforesaid may be removed by any officer or employee of the Board to a pound. (5) Whoever in a cantonment manufactures, supplies, carries or uses for packaging or any other purposes material of non-biodegradable nature including polythene bags shall be punished with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees or imprisonment which may extend to six months. Section 290 - Registration and control of dogs (1) A Board may make bye-laws to provide for the registration of all dogs kept within the cantonment. (2) Such bye-laws shall -- (a) require the registration, by any officer authorised in this behalf of all dogs kept in the cantonment; (b) require that every registered dog shall wear a collar to which shall be attached a metal token to be issued by the registration authority, and fix the fee payable for the issue thereof; (c) require that any dog which has not been registered or which is not wearing such token shall, if found in any public place, be detained at a place set apart for the purpose; and (d) fix the fee which shall be charged for such detention and provide that any such dog shall be liable to be destroyed or.....

Cantonments Act, 2006 Section 289

Title: Penalty for Causeing Nuisances

.....years being in his charge from easing himself in any street or other public place within the cantonment shall be punishable with fine which may extend to two hundred-fifty rupees. (3) The owner or keeper of any animal found picketed or staying without a keeper in a street or other public place in a cantonment shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees. (4) Any animal found picketed or straying as aforesaid may be removed by any officer or employee of the Board to a pound. (5) Whoever in a cantonment manufactures, supplies, carries or uses for packaging or any other purposes material of non-biodegradable nature including polythene bags shall be punished with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees or imprisonment which may extend to six months.

Title: Functions, Duties and Powers of Grama Panchayat, Adhyaksha and Upadhyaksha

Section 67 - Prohibition of offensive or dangerous trades without licence No place within the jurisdiction of Grama Panchayat shall be used for the purpose of any trade, business or industry which the Government may, by notification declare to be offensive or dangerous, except under a licence granted or renewed by the Grama Panchayat and subject to such conditions as may be imposed in the licence. Section 68 - Control of hotels etc. No place within the jurisdiction of a Grama.....

.....any building , monument, post, wall, fence, tree or other thing, any bill, notice or other document; or (viii) without proper authority removes, destroys defaces or otherwise obliterates any notice or other document put up or exhibited under this Act or the rules or bye-laws made thereunder; or (b) at any time or place at which the same has been prohibited by the Grama Panchayat by public or special notice, beats any drum or tom-tom or blows a horn or trumpet or beats any utensil or sounds any brass or other instrument or plays any music; or (c) without proper authority disturbs the public peace or order by singing, screaming or shouting, or by using any apparatus for amplifying or reproducing the human voice, such as a megaphone or a loudspeaker; or (d) lets loose any animal so as to cause, or negligently allows any animal to cause injury, danger, alarm or annoyance to any person; or (e) uses or permits to be used as a latrine any place not intended for that purpose, shall, on conviction be punished with fine which may extend to one hundred rupees.
