(e) A, a trader, in anticipation of insolvency, lodges effects with B for A's benefit, and with intent to defraud his creditors; and in order to give a colour to the transaction, writes a promissory note binding himself to pay to 6 a sum for.....

Any person who contravences any provisions of this Act, rules, notification or directions issued thereunder, shall be punishable with a fine of Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred or an imprisonment for a period of one month or with both. If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provision of this Act, the State Government may, by general of special order published in the Official Gazette , make such provisions not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act as may appear to be necessary or expedient for the removal of the difficulty.
