Title: Maintenance of Public Streets by the Board

.....plans and specifications approved by the State Government, the provisions of any municipal or other law relating to buildings or roads shall not, so far as they are inconsistent with the plans and specifications so approved, apply to those buildings and streets, and notwithstanding the provision of any other Act, any public street or road laid out and constructed in accordance with those plans and specifications may be maintained by the Board. (2) In respect of the Cities of Bangalore, Mysore and such other areas as may be notified by State Government, the State Government shall not approve for the purposes of sub-section (1) any plans and specifications inconsistent with the provisions of any law relating to buildings or roads in force in the cities of Bangalore, Mysore and such other areas as may be notified by State Government except after consultations with the municipal authorities for the cities and areas on the general question of the relaxation of such provisions in connection with housing operations.

Title: Temporary Association of Persons with a [Board] for Particular Purposes

Temporary association of persons with a1[Board] for particular purposes (1) A1[Board] may associate with itself for any particular purpose in such manner as may be determined by regulations made under this Act any person whose assistance or advice it may desire. (2) A person associated with it by the1[Board] under sub-section (1) for any purpose shall have a right to take, part in the discussions of the1[Board] relevant to that purpose, but shall not have a right to vote at a meeting of the1[Board]. ______________________ 1. Central Road Fund Act, 2000 Chapter III

Title: Managment of Central Road Fund

.....referred to in this section as the existing Fund) shall be deemed to be the Fund established under this Act and,-- (a) all schemes relating to development and maintenance of national highways and Slate roads sanctioned under the existing Fund in so far as such schemes are relatable to the schemes under this Act, shall be deemed to be the schemes sanctioned under this Act; (b) all funds accrued under the existing Fund including assets and liabilities shall be transferred to the Fund established under this Act. Section 15 - Repeal and saving (1) The Central Road Fund Ordinance, 2000 (Ord. 5 of 2000) is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.

Kudala Sangama Development Board Act, 1994 Section 3

Title: Constitution of the Board

(1) As soon as may be, after the commencement of this Act, there shall be established for the purposes of this Act, a Board called the Kudala Sangama Development Board. (2) The Board shall have its headquarters at such place as may be determined by the Board from time to time. (3) The Board shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid, having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable, and to contract and shall by the said name sue and be sued. Title: Central Road Fund (Amendment) Act, 2007

THE CENTRAL ROAD FUND (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2007 [Act No. 28 of 2007] [1st June 2007] PREAMBLE An Act further to amend the Central Road Fund Act, 2000. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-eighth year of the Republic of India as follows:. 1. Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Central Road Fund (Amendment) Act, 2007 (2) It shall come into force on such data as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. 2. Amendment of section 9 In the Central Road Fund Act, 2000 (54 of 2000) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), namely:- (b) take such measures as may be necessary to raise funds for the development and maintenance of the national highways and for the development of rural roads;. 3. Amendment of section 11 In section 11 of the principal Act, after sub-section(1), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- Provided that the Central Government may use the share of the fund under sub-clause(a) of clause(viii) of section 10 for the repayment of any loan taken for the purpose of development of rural roads in any state or Union territory.

Title: Management of Corporation and Board of Directors

.....the Corporation. (2) The Board shall consist of a Chairman and such other Directors, being not less than five and not more than seventeen, as the State Government may think fit to appoint. (3) The State Government may, if it so thinks fit appoint one of the other Directors as the Vice-Chairman of the Board. (4) Rules made under this Act shall provide for the representation, both of the Central Government and of the State Government concerned, on the Board in such proportion as may be agreed to by both the Government and of appointment by each Government of its own representatives thereto and where the capital of a Corporation is raised by the issue of shares to other parties under sub-sec. (3) of section 23, provision shall also be made for the representation of such shareholders on the Board and the manner in which the representatives shall be elected by such share-holders. (5) The term of office of and the manner of filling casual vacancies among the Directors shall be such as may be prescribed.]
