Title: Renewal Fees

(1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct that for the retention of a name in the State veterinary register, there shall be paid in every five years to the State Veterinary Council, such renewal fee, not exceeding fifteen rupees, as may be prescribed and where such direction has been made, such renewal fee shall be due to be paid before the 1 st day of April of the year to which it relates. (2) Where a renewal fee is not paid within the said period, the Registrar of the State Veterinary Council shall remove the name of the defaulter from the State veterinary register : Provided that a name so removed may be restored to the said register on payment of renewal fee in such manner as may be prescribed; (3) On payment of the renewal fee, the Registrar of the State Veterinary Council shall issue a certificate of renewal and such certificate shall be proof of renewal of registration.

Section 16 - Renewal fee (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 13, the Council may, with the previous sanction of the State Government, direct that for every three years a renewal fee of1[five rupees] shall be paid by each person registered under this Act for the continuance of his name on the register. (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 18 or 20, each registered practitioner shall pay to the Board on or before the thirty-first day of December of every year a renewal fee of1[ten] rupees for the continuance of his name in the register. The State Government may, from time to time, make rules for regulating,-- (a) the supply of stamps to be used under this Act, (b) the number of stamps to be used for denoting any fee chargeable under this Act. (c) the renewal of damaged or spoiled stamps, 1[***] (d) the keeping accounts of all stamps used under this Act: 2[(e) the manner of payment of Court-fee and refund thereof by e-payment:] Provided that, in the case of stamps used under section 3 in High Court, such rules shall be made, within the concurrence of the Chief justice of such Court.
