If any person is, within the limits of {Substituted by Act 3 of 1951, section 3 and Sch., for "Part A States and Part C States."} [India], obtaining or attempting to obtain recruits for the service of any Foreign State in any capacity, the Central Government may, by order in writing {The words "signed by a Secretary to the G. of I." omitted by the A.O.1937}, either prohibit such person from so doing, or permit him to do so subject to any conditions which the Central Government thinks fit to impose.

At the next general election to the House of the People and thereafter, the seats allotted under section 3 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950(43 of 1950) to the Union territories in the House of the People shall be seats to be filled by persons chosen by direct election and for that purpose each Union territory shall form one parliamentary constituency.

(1) On and from the date of establishment of the Bureau.- (a) any reference to the Indian Standards Institution in any law other than this Act or in any contract or other instrument shall be deemed as a reference to the Bureau: (b) all properties and assets, movable and immovable, of, or belonging to. the Indian Standards Institution shall vest in the Bureau: (c) all the rights and liabilities of the Indian Standards Institution shall be transferred to, and be the rights and liabilities of, the Bureau; (d) without prejudice to the provisions of clause (c), all debts, obligations and liabilities incurred, all contracts entered into and all matters and things engaged to be done by, with or for the Indian Standards Institution immediately before that date. for or in connection with the purposes of the said Institution shall be deemed to have been incurred, entered into. or engaged to be done by with or for the Bureau, (e) all sums of money due to the Indian Standards Institution immediately before that date shall be deemed to be due to the Bureau, (f) all suits and other legal proceedings instituted or which could have been instituted by or against the Indian.....

.....shall, along with his application " a. If he /she is an Advocate or Pleader, produce from the Presiding Officer of the Court in which he/ she is actually practicing, a certificate indicating the length of his / her practice; b. If he / she is an Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade I or an Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade II, produce from the Collector of the District concerned, a certificate indicating the length of his / her service; c. Produce a certificate of good character, from a Senior Advocate /counsel and another from a responsible person, not being a relative but who is well acquainted with him / her in private life. The selection shall be made based on the results of written examination and viva voce i.e, the selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and viva voce taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointment. The maximum marks allotted for the written examination and viva voce shall be 75% and 25 % respectively. The Notification enlisting the successful candidates prepared under these rules shall be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Official Gazette and it shall cease to.....
