THE TRIPURA NURSING COUNCIL ACT, 1986 THE TRIPURA NURSING COUNCIL ACT, 1986 An Act To provide for constitution of a Nursing Council for Tripura in order to regulate teaching in general nursing, midwifery, auxiliary nursing midwifery, health visiting or public health nursing in the State and for matters connected; therewith and incidental thereto. Be in enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Tripura in the THIRTY SEVENTH YEAR OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA as follows: CHAPTER I Introduction 1. Short title, extent and commencement - (1) This Act may be called the Tripura Nursing Council Act, 1986. (2) It extends to the whole of Tripura. (3) It shall come into force at once. 2. Interpretation - In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context (a) "Council" means the Council constituted under this Act ; (b) "Indian Nursing Council" means the Council constituted under the Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947; (c) "Prescribed" means prescribed by rule made under this Act ; (d) "Member" means a member of the Council; (e) "President means the President of the Council ; (f) "Register" means the Register of Nurses, Midwives,.....

Title: Payment of Tax for Entry of Goods Escaping Assessment

.....under this Act or any deduction or exemption have been wrongly allowed in respect thereof, the assessing authority may, notwithstanding the fact that whole or part of such escaped turnover or value of taxable goods, as the case may be, was already before the said authority at the time of original assessment or re-assessment, but subject to the provisions of sub-section (3) at any time within a period of eight years from the expiry of the year to which the tax relates, proceed to assess or re-assess to the best of its judgement the tax payable by a dealer in respect of such turnover or purchase value of such goods, as the case may be, after issuing a notice to the dealer and after making such enquiry as it may consider necessary.] (2) In making as assessment under sub-section (1) the assessing authority may, if it is satisfied that the escape from assessment is due to willful non disclosure of the entry of such goods by the 2 [x x x] dealer direct him to pay in addition to the tax assessed under sub-section (1) a penalty not exceeding one and half times the tax so assessed: Provided that no penalty under this sub-section shall be directed to be paid unless the dealer.....

THE BOMBAY BUILDING (CONTROL ON ERECTION, RE-ERECTION AND CONVERSION) (REPEAL) ACT 1971 [Act No. XLI of 1971]1 [08th November, 1971] PREAMBLE An Act to repeal the Bombay Building (Control on Erection, Re-erection and Conversion) Act, 1948. WHEREAS, it is expedient to repeal the Bombay Building (Control on Erection, Re-erection and Conversion) Act, 1948; it is hereby enacted in the Twenty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows :- INTRODUCTION In 1948, the Bombay Building (Control on Erection, Re-erection and Conversion) Act. 1948 was enacted. At that time, there was an acute shortage of having accommodation for industrial towns and cities in the State therefore, to regulate the supply of building materials (e.g. bricks, iron and steel, cement etc.) and rationing the supply to the needy, such Act to control the construction of buildings was enacted. During that shortage period, non-essential construction work was not allowed without permission. But when such situation was eased, the old Act, is now repealed. ______________ 1.
