Title: Authority for Removal of Eyes of Deceased Persons

.....by such person to his eyes being used after his death for therapeutic purposes the person lawfully in possession of the body of the deceased person may, unless he has reason to believe that any near relative of the deceased person has objection to the deceased person's eyes being used for therapeutic purposes authorise the removal of the eyes of the deceased person for their use for therapeutic purposes. (3) The authority given under sub-section (1) or, as the case may be, under sub-section (2), shall be sufficient warrant for the removal, for therapeutic purposes, of the eyes from the body of the deceased person but no such removal shall be made by any person other than a registered medical practitioner (ophthalmic) who had satisfied himself, before such removal, by a personal examination of the body from which eyes are to be removed, that life is extinct in such body

Title: Removal of Eyes Not to Be Authorised in Certain Cases

(1) No facilities shall be granted under sub-section (1) of section 3 and no authority shall be given under sub-section (2) of that section for the removal of eyes from the body of a deceased person if the person required to grant such facilities, or empowered to give such authority, has reason to believe that an inquest may be required to be held in relation to such body in pursuance of the provisions of any law for the time being in force. (2) No authority for the removal of eyes from the body of a deceased person shall be given by a person to whom such body has been entrusted solely for the purpose of internment, cremation or other disposal.

Title: Preservation of Eyes Removed from Dead Bodies

After the removal of the eyes from the body of the deceased person the registered medical practitioner (ophthalmic) shall take such steps for the preservation of the eyes so removed as may be prescribed.

Title: Authority for Removal of Eyes in Case of Unclaimed Bodies in Hospital or Prison

.....body is available in the hospital or prison; or (ii) two hours from the time of the death of the concerned person, in cases where facility for cold storage of the dead body is available in the hospital or prison. (3) No authority shall he given under sub-section (1) if the person empowered to give such authority has reason to believe that any near relative of the deceased is likely to claim the dead body even though such near relative has not come forward to claim the body of the deceased within the time specified in clause (i) or, as the case may be clause (ii) of sub-section (2). Explanation. For the purposes of this section "hospital" includes a nursing home, medical or teaching institution for therapeutic purposes or other like institution.

Repeal and Saving (1) The Parel Investments and Trading Private Limited and Domestic Gas Private Limited (Taking Over of Management) Act, 1979 is hereby repealed.; (2) On the repeal of the Parel Investments and Trading Private Limited and Domestic Gas Private Limited (Taking Over of Management) Act, 1979, the management of the Parel Investments and Trading Private Limited and Domestic Gas Private Limited shall be vested and deemed to have been vested in the respective board of directors of the said Companies to be appointed after such repeal and possession of the.....

THE PAREL INVESTMENTS AND TRADING PRIVATE LIMITED AND DOMESTIC GAS PRIVATE LIMITED (TAKING OVER OF MANAGEMENT) ACT, 1979 [Act, No. 29 of 1979] [26th May, 1979] PREAMBLE An Act to provide for the taking over, in the public interest, of the management of the undertakings of the Parel Investments and Trading Private Limited and the Domestic Gas Private Limited, pending acquisition of those undertakings, with a view to maintaining a service essential to the life of the community, namely, the bottling, transporting, marketing and distribution of liquefied petroleum gas, and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 Section 10

Title: Eligibility to Be a Private Security Guard

.....by notification in the Official Gazette, specify; (b) has completed eighteen years of age but has not attained the age of sixty-five years; (c) satisfies the agency about his character and antecedents in such manner as may be prescribed; (d) has completed the prescribed security training successfully; (e) fulfils such physical standards as may be prescribed; and (f) satisfies such other conditions as may be prescribed. (2) No person who has been convicted by a competent court or who has been dismissed or removed on grounds of misconduct or moral turpitude while serving in any of the armed forces of the Union, State Police Organisations, Central or State Governments or in any private security agency shall be employed or engaged as a private security guard or a supervisor. (3) Every private security agency may, while employing a person as a private security guard, give preference to a person who has served as a member in one or more of the following, namely:-- (i) Army; (ii) Navy; (iii) Air Force; (iv) any other armed forces of the Union; (v) Police, including armed constabularies of States; and (vi) Home Guards.

Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 Section 15

Title: Register to Be Maintained by a Private Security Agency

(1) Every private security agency shall maintain a register containing-- (a) the names and addresses of the persons managing the private security agency; (b) the names, addresses, photographs and salaries of the private security guards and supervisors under its control; (c) the names and addresses of the persons whom it had provided private security guards or services; and (d) such other particulars as may be prescribed. (2) The Controlling Authority may call for such information as it considers necessary from any private security agency, supervisor or private security guard to ensure due compliance of the Act.
