Air Corporations Act, 1953 Complete Act

SECTION 09: CORPORATIONS TO ACT ON BUSINESS PRINCIPLES - In carrying out any of duties vested in it by this Act, each of the Corporations shall act so far as may be on business principles. CHAPTER 03: FINANCE, ACCOUNTS AND AUDIT SECTION 10: CAPITAL OF THE CORPORATIONS - (1) All non-recurring expenditure incurred by the Central Government for, or in connection with, each of the Corporations up to the date of establishment of that Corporation and declared to be capital expenditure by that Government, shall be treated as capital provided by the Central Government to that Corporation. (2) The Central Government may provide any further capital that may be required by either of the Corporations for the carrying on of the business of the Corporation or for any purpose connected therewith on such terms and conditions as the Central Government may determine. (3) Each of the Corporations may, with the consent of the Central Government, or in accordance with the terms of any general authority given to it by the Central Government- (a) borrow money for all or any of the purposes of the Corporation, and (b) secure the payment of any money.....

Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 Complete Act

(2) The Central Authority shall consist of- (a) The Chief Justice of India who shall be Patron -in-Chief; (b) A serving or retired Judge of the Supreme Court to be nominated by the President, in consultation with the Chief Justice of India, who shall be the Executive Chairman; and (c) Such number of other members, possessing such experience and qualifications, as may be prescribed by the Central Government, to be nominated by that Government in consultation with the Chief Justice of India......

Vaccination Act, 1880 Complete Act

.....for any local area under its administration by notification in the Official Gazette, during which alone vaccination may be performed under this Act. SECTION 03: EXTENSION OF ACT TO MUNICIPALITIES - A majority in number of the persons present at a meeting of the Municipal Commissioners specially convened in this behalf may apply to the State Government to extend this Act to the whole or any part of a municipality, and thereupon the State Government may, if it thinks fit, by notification published in the Official Gazette, declare its intention to extend this Act in the manner proposed. Any inhabitant of such municipality or part thereof who objects to such extension may within six weeks from the date of such publication, send his objection in writing to the Secretary to the State Government, and the State Government shall take such objection into consideration. When six weeks from the said publication have expired the State Government, if no such objections have been sent as afore- said, or (when such objections have been so sent) if in its opinion they are insufficient, may _by like notification effect the proposed extension. THE KERALA PANCHAYAT RAJ ACT, 1994 THE KERALA PANCHAYAT RAJ ACT, 1994 [Act No. 13 of 1994] PREAMBLE An Act to replace the present enactments relating to Panchayats and district councils by a comprehensive enactment. Punjab Apartment and Property Regulation Act, 1995 Complete Act

The Act of 1995 has been enacted with a view to regulate the promotion of the construction, transfer and management of apartments on ownership basis, to regulate colonies and property transactions and to provide for registration of promoters and estate agents and enforcement of obligations on promoters and estate agents and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Before the enactment of 1995 Act, the Punjab Regulation of Colonies Act, 1975 occupied the field. However, it was felt that the private colonizers were operating in the State with the sole motive of making profits without regard to the interest and rights of individual buyers of plots/flats. In order to check, control and regulate the activities of private colonisers and protect the interest of the consumers keeping in view the National Housing Policy, the Legislature enacted the 1995 Act. The Punjab Wheeled Vehicles (Lights) Act, 1976 Complete Act
