.....(MANUFACTURE, SALE AND USAGE) AND GARBAGE (CONTROL) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2008 PREAMBLE An Act to amend the Delhi Degradable Plastic Bag (Manufacture, Sale and Usage) and Garbage (Control) Act, 2000. BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in the Fifty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Delhi Degradable Plastic Bag (Manufacture, Sale and Usage) and Garbage (Control) (Amendment) Act, 2008. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.
