Indian Ports Act, 1908 Section 23

Title: Boiling Pitch on Board Vessel Within Prohibited Limits

State: Central

Year: 1908

If any person boils or heats any pitch, tar, resin, dammer, turpentine, oil or other such combustible matter on board any vessel within such port, or at any place within its limits where such act is prohibited by the1[Government], or contrary to the directions of the Conservator, he and the master of the vessel shall for every such offence be punishable with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees each. __________________________ 1.
