Every person employed by the Authority or by a Board under this Act shall, for the purposes of sections 166 to 171 (both inclusive), 184, 185 and 409 of the Indian Penal Code 45 of 1860, and for the purpose of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 49 of 1988. be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the said Code.".] ________________________ 1. Title : Obligation of Persons Employed in Amine

No person employed in amine shall- (a) wilfully interfere with or misuse any appliance, convenience or other thing provided in a mine for the purpose of securing the health, safety or welfare of the persons employed therein; (b) wilfully and without reasonable cause do anything likely to endanger himself or others; (c) wilfully neglect to make use of any appliance or other thing provided in the mine for the purpose of securing the health or safety of the persons employed therein.

New Delhi Municipal Council Act 1994 Section 298

Title : Conditions of Service of Sweepers and Certain Other Class of Persons Employed in Municipal Service

(1) No person being a sweeper employed by the Council shall in the absence of any contract authorising him so to do and without reasonable cause, resign his employment or absent himself from his duty without having given one month's notice to the Chairperson or shall neglect or without reasonable cause refuse to perform his duties. (2) The Council may by resolution direct that on or from such date as may be specified in the resolution, the provisions of this section shall apply in the case of any specified class of persons employed by the Council whose functions are intimately concerned with public health or safety.

Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964 Section 375

Title : Conditions of Service of Sweepers and Certain Other Class of Persons Employed in Municipal Service

(1) No person being a sweeper employed by the municipal council shall, in the absence of a contract authorising him so to do and without reasonable cause resign his employment or absent himself from his duty without having given one month's notice to the Municipal Commissioner or Chief Officer or shall neglect or without reasonable cause refuse to perform his duties. (2) The municipal council may with the previous sanction of theGovernment, direct that on or from such date as may be specified in the resolution, the provisions of this section shall apply in the case of any specified class of persons employed by the municipal council whose functions are intimately connected with public health or safety.

Title : Conditions for Providing Guaranteed Employment

(1) The State Government may, without prejudice to the conditions specified in Schedule II, specify in the Scheme the conditions for providing guaranteed employment under this Act. (2) The persons employed under any Scheme made under this Act shall be entitled to such facilities not less than the minimum facilities specified in Schedule II.
