Karnataka Parks, Play-fields and Open Spaces (Preservation and Regulation) Act, 1985 Section 9

Title: Obligation of Owner of Parks and Play-fields

.....to,- (i) maintain such park or play-field in a clean and proper condition ; or (ii) remove or alter the projection, encroachment or obstruction; or (iii) execute such repairs as it may consider necessary and the cost of such maintenance, removal, alteration or repairs shall be recoverable from the owner or the person or authority in occupation in such manner as may be prescribed. (3) Any dispute as to the amount of cost shall be decided by the Government and its decision shall be final. (4) The executive authority, may, instead of or in addition to taking action as indicated in sub-section (2), proceed to acquire the land under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 for the purpose of effective management of the land as a park or play-field.

.....convention, relating to narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances which may be ratified or acceded to by India after the commencement of this Act. THE KERALA FISHERMEN'S WELFARE FUND ACT, 1985 1 THE KERALA FISHERMEN'S WELFARE FUND ACT, 1985 1 (ACT 30 OF 1985) An Act to provide for the constitution of a welfare fund for promoting the welfare of fishermen in the State of Kerala and for matters incidental thereto. Preamble .- WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the constitution of a welfare fund for promotion of the Welfare of fishermen in the State of Kerala and for certain other matters incidental thereto ; BE it enacted in the Thirty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title, extent and commencement .-(1) This Act may be called the Kerala Fishermen's Welfare Fund Act, 1985. Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act, 1985 Complete Act

.....the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act. .....Application of the Act The Motor Vehicles Act, 1939 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), shall, in its application to West Bengal, be amended for the purposes and in the manner hereinafter provided. Section 3 Amendment of section 45 of Act 4 of 1939 In section 45 of the principal Act, in sub-section (1), after the words "Every application for a permit", the following words shall be inserted : "shall be accompanied by a receipt of profession tax paid by the owner of the vehicle or vehicles under any law for the time being in force and".
