SECTION 14: PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT TO BE IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER LAW FOR THE TIME BEING IN FORCE The provisions of this Act shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the provisions contained in any other Act, for the time being in force. (2) It extends to the whole State of Uttaranchal. (3) It shall come into force at once. Section 2 - Amendment of Section 3 In the Uttaranchal State Commission for Other Backward Classes Act, 2003 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act); in sub-section (3) of Section 3 in place of the words "Vice-Chairman" the word "Two Vice-Chairmen" shall be substituted. (5) If the offices of both Chairman and Vice-Chairman fall vacant, the duties of the office of Chairman shall be discharged by such member, as the State Government may, by order, direct.". Title: Constitution of the Karnataka Commission for Backward Classes

(1) The Government shall constitute a body to be known as the Karnataka State Commission for Backward Classes to exercise the powers conferred on and to perform the functions assigned to it under this Act with its headquarters at Bangalore.
