THE UTTARAKHAND AUDIT ACT, 2012 THE UTTARAKHAND AUDIT ACT, 2012 [Act No. 02 of 2012] PREAMBLE An Act to make provision for, and to regulate audit of all Government machineries, Public Corporation, Governmental Companies, Institutions, Statutory Authorities, Panchayati Raj Institutions, Municipalities, Urban Local Bodies, Governmental Committees in the State of Uttarakhand. Be it enacted by the Legislature of State of Uttarakhand in the Sixty-Third Year of the Republic of India as follows: - Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Uttarakhand Audit Act, 2012. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttarakhand. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf. Section 2 - Definitions In this Act :- (a) 'Audit' includes test audit, concurrent audit cent-per-cent audit and special audit and also inspection of accounts by the officers appointed under section 3; (b) 'Director' means the Director, Audit (with Local Funds Audit and Co-operative, Panchayat Audit) Department, Uttarakhand appointed under section 3 and interalia includes such officer on whom powers.....

.....MIZORAM MUNICIPALITIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2009 [Act No. 14 of 2009] [09th November, 2009] PREAMBLE An Act to amend the Mizoram Municipalities Act, 2007 (Act No. 6 of 2007) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act). It is enacted by Legislative Assembly of Mizoram in the Sixtieth year of the Republic of India as follows.- Section 1 - Short title, Extent And Commencement (1) These Act shall be called the Mizoram Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 2009. (2) It shall have like extent as the Principal Act. (3) It shall come into force from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. Section 2 - Amendment of Section 2 (1) In section 2 of the Principal Act, after sub-section (18), a new sub-section (18-A) may be added, namely.- "(18-A)"Director of Local Bodies" means an officer of the State Government not below the rank of Secretary designated as such by the State Government by Notification." Short Title Extent and commencement. (1) This Act may be called "The Mizoram State Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act. 2008". (2) It extends to the whole of Mizoram except the Autonomous District Council areas. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint. 2. Definitions. Be it enacted by the Legislature of Sikkim in the Fifty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows: CHAPTER I Preliminary: Definitions and Interpretations Short title, extent and commencement 1. (1) This Act may be called the Sikkim Police Act, 2008. (2) It extends to the whole of Sikkim.
