Title: Depositing Produce of Mines in or Near Channels Prohibited

No person shall deposit any produce of mines in or near any channel or other work, whether natural or artificial, through which rain or other water flows into any irrigation work.

(3) If the said owner fails to comply within the time specified or does repairs which in the opinion of the Irrigation Officer are unsatisfactory, the Irrigation Officer may carry out the necessary repairs and the cost thereof shall be recovered from the said owner as an arrear of land revenue. (4) From any order of the Irrigation officer under this section an appeal shall lie within one month from the date of communication of the order, to the Deputy Commissioner, whose decision thereon shall be final. A prescribed form of request shall be presented for signature of the patient or the person accompanying him. The form of request signed by the person accompanying the patient shall be deemed to have been signed on behalf of the patient and shall have the same effect as if signed by the patient himself: Provided that it shall not be obligatory on the part of the patient or the person accompanying him to sign such a form for admission of the patient to the hospital, nursing.....

Title: Of Obtaining Labour in Emergencies

.....persons complying with the requisition under section 40 shall, as soon as may be reasonably practicable, and in any case within fifteen days from the date of such compliance, be paid by the Canal Officer or the Tahsildar, as the case may be, for the work done by them at fifty per cent in excess of the rate payable for the time being prescribed by the competent authority of the Public Works Department to persons attending to similar work: Provided that for work done at night, payment shall be made at double such rates. Section 42 - Appeals against order under section 41 Any person who does not accept the amount tendered in payment under section 41 may appeal, within thirty days from the date of such tender, to the Deputy Commissioner whose decision shall be final.

Title: Requisition of Labour for Urgent Works or Repairs Etc

.....in the vicinity to call upon all or any of the able bodied persons who reside or hold land in or near the locality where such work, repair or clearance has to be executed to assist in the execution of the same as such officer or other person authorised by him in this behalf may direct. (2) In calling upon the able bodied persons to assist the execution of any work under sub--section (1), no discrimination shall be made on grounds of religion, race, caste or class or of any of them. (3) Every person so requisitioned shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of the Indian Penal Code. (4) An order made under sub--section (1), shall be immediately reported to the Deputy Commissioner and the Canal Officer.

Karnataka Excise Act, 1965(Karnataka) Section 26

Title: Form and Conditions of Licence, Etc

(1) Every licence or permit granted under this Act shall be granted on payment of such fees for such period, and subject to such restrictions and on such conditions, and shall be in such form and shall contain such particulars, as may be prescribed. (2) The conditions prescribed under sub-section (1) may include provision of accommodation by the licensee to Excise Officers at the licenced premises or the payment of rent or other charges for such accommodation at or near the licensed premises, and the payment of the costs, charges and expenses (including the salaries and allowances of the Excise Officer) which the State Government may incur in connection with supervision to ensure compliance with the provisions of this Act, the rules made thereunder and the licence.

COMPANY'S LIQUIDATION ACCOUNTS RULES, 1965 Complete Act

.....the amount, if any, to which the claimant is entitled. (5) Where the claimant's title to the aforesaid money has been established to the satisfaction of the Central Government, that Government shall direct the claimant (not being the Central Government itself, a State Government, a Government company within the meaning of section 617 of the Act or a local authority) to execute an indemnity bond with or without surety in the form set out in Annexure II or as near thereto as may be on a non-judicial stamp paper of the value payable in the State of execution or acceptance. (6) On receipt of the report referred to in sub-rule (4) and the indemnity bond, if any, duly executed by the claimant, the Central Government shall issue a payment order sanctioning the payment of the amount due to the claimant. (7) Notwithstanding anything in sub-rule (4) or sub-rule (5), the Central Government may, where the amount claimed is not more than 2[one thousand rupees] and the claimant establishes his title to the money to its satisfaction, issue an order sanctioning the payment of the amount due to the claimant. (8) The claimant, on receipt of the order under sub-rule (6) or sub-rule.....
